Summary:A 36-year-old man from St. Charles, Missouri died after deliberately running into traffic on the Indiana Toll Road and being struck by a semi-truck. The incident occurred near mile marker 32, east of the Valparaiso/Chesterton exit. Troopers responded to a report of a man running in and out of traffic. After a trooper attempted to speak with him, the man ran into traffic and was struck by the semi. Despite immediate medical attention, the man was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
